As a matter of fact, his very first deer ever!! My 14 YO nephew's first time deer hunting....10 AM this morning, Zack kept walking up on me.
I finally waved him over to chew his butt about moving around.
We were standing there talking when I glanced down the hill & this 6 pointer came walking up on us. Told Zack to shut up & shoot because if he didn't, I was going to do it.
The deer never stopped coming & actually picked up speed. Thought he would run us over! Zack shot & missed the first time but redeemed himself on the second shot.
He learned about field dressing & dragging his deer out pretty quick ( I only helped dress him on the tough spots ) I did help drag him out though.
That boys' head swelled up so much that he had to ride in the back of the truck! LMAO Now he's giving me advice on how to hunt.

Nice Job!! ... I had a 14 y.o. nephew out for his first ... but we never saw anything ... it's good to be an uncle they can look to for help though.!!!
