THE Browning Machine gun? Just like his pistols, Mr. Browning designed more than one machine gun. If I remember correctly, he also designed the .380 ACP, .50 BMG (round), and the .45 ACP, and most likely others. When I first started working on 1911 pistols seriously in the '80s I was astounded to hold a frame and see the engineering genius of John Browning. And today I am still astounded by all of the guns he designed. The fact that the Browning Machine Gun is still in use by our military worldwide is quite a benchmark.
Agreed! The 1911 A1 is a classic firearm, lot of history, parts galore, and most work without being redesigned. I have owned many different ones over the years, and never really had issues. The magazines are also important, and need to be fired to prove dependable. Good luck and always carry condition #1. Cocked, locked, ready to rock.Fixed it for you.
