Series 70?
Yep. Always wanted one but not at the price they typically sell for. The owner of my LGS was selling it on consignment and knew I was stopping in to pick up a GP100, so he kept it out of the case for me.Series 70?
That is beautiful!Picked this up today from a fellow INGOer. I have wanted a Gold Cup for years. SN# dates it to 1978. The pictures really don't do it justice as they say. Its practically flawless.
Thank you sir.

They work well.
I haven't adjusted anything the original owner said it was set for a great trigger pull and based on dry firing I believe him. Very crisp probably low 4 lb pullCurious about the trigger and Over Travel Stop

ThanksThey work well.
Once set, the reset is just letting a little pressure off the trigger.
I recommend trying one out!Thanks
My RIA Ultra FS 10mm 1911 has one. I played with it until I got what I felt was the best for it.Curious about the trigger and Over Travel Stop
Same. They have a gorgeous finish. Your pictures do a much better job of doing it justice. I’ve taken it to the range once and I have to admit it isn’t my favorite 1911 to shoot, but I’m satisfied with shooting it occasionally and just looking at it the rest of the time. Thanks! That’s exactly what I did. 100 rounds, complete disassembly/cleaning, and lubricated for storage.Agree
I have a couple that are probably better shooters but its the historical factor.
The back in the day if you wanted a custom off the shelf pistol to compete with this was probably it. I haven't shot it yet but I will probably put 100 rounds thru it then clean it up and put away till the itch comes back. Then rinse and repeat.
