    Now get to work and checker the rear of the slide at 50 LPI! (and be sure to include a pre checkered spare extractor)


    I had to look and see if there was a 50 lpi file even availible, or if you were making that up, there is. :)
    Checkering done to the back of a slide is something I do like and thanks to the owner of this frame I now have a 30 lpi file I can practice with.
    Just not on this gun.

    I do not own a 50 line file either but I have always loved to checker slide butts and the rear sight blade with a 40 line file. What always cracked me up was all of the guys who would say they wanted the slide butt checkered so that when they smacked it with their hand when it wouldn't go into battery it kept their hand from slipping off. Yup dude, that's why we checker it.........it's fer TRACTION!
