Not confusing any thing, SB is the humpback. Speaking of ED Brown.

Then I, sir, am confused. Why the statement "I would never buy a humpbacked 1911" and "neither" when both the American Defender and the Valor have straight grip frames?
( BTW, Beautiful EB bobtail carry. My one example is the Kobra carry version.)

I guess "humpback" was taken differently by everyone. I figured he was talking about an arched MSH.
Either that, or some obscure Shamu reference that I wasn't tracking on. I was about to see if Sea World was giving away free Killer Whale 1911s. I'd be down with that.

It will be referred to as the "camel" pistol from now on. :ingo:

I don't have a thunder ranch but I do have a custom carry. Here is a pic of the les and dan together. I keep them apart in the safe to avoid arguments

Can't really say between these 2. I've not shot the les yet. It is one oily bastard. I have 300 rounds set aside for break in but just haven't got around to it yet. Maybe next year.

I think he is refering to the SB 1911 as the hump backed. If you look at the grip safety it isnt blended into the "tang" or "beaver tail". It is left unfinished, here is a thread from a few weeks ago, on page 2 you will find the perfect example. Schroeder Bauman 1911 Pistols!!
Look where that is posted, next to the reference of a new company, Dan Wesson is far from new.
    "hump" explained.

    OOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Sorry, sun got in my eyes.

Saturday is my slow day. Class Dismissed.

Well, as long as I'm here, what don't you like about the Dan Wesson?
