My biggest issue with the OG Bodyguard was the incredibly ****** trigger. Not quite as horrible as the OG LCP, which I've never owned because of the trigger, but in that close neighborhood... unacceptable.

(the tiny slide lock release isn't an issue for me in this size gun, I overhand it)

LCP II and the Max both have an acceptable trigger... which is, IMO, exceptional for pocket guns... to me, acceptable means reliable double tap A zone hits at 7 yards.

It'll be interesting to see how the 2.0 trigger compares to the pocket Rugers... will check out the videos.

A friend has one. The wife and I have both shot it. I was surprised at how little perceived recoil there was being that it's so small. After the wife shot it, we went straight to Beech Grove Firearms to buy one. They didn't have one and said they sell as soon as they arrive. Wifey is now #1 on the waiting list! We don't have another .380 but she bought ammo anyway. I'll probably need a set of dies, now!

I have handled two of them as of today. One at Atkinson’s about a month ago and one at Rural King today.

The trigger on the first one was significantly better than the one at Rural King today. Something just seemed off with it. Hard click at the beginning of the pull to the wall with decent break. Seemed to drag quite a bit on the reset. The one at Atkinsons felt more clean and very similar to my Shield+.

I’m guessing the one at RK would probably smooth out over time but my point is there was definitely a significant difference between the two so make sure you check yours out well prior to final purchase to ensure your satisfaction.

This isn’t uncommon in general for production guns by any means.

The ergos are great for such a small pistol!
