Oh no worries, you said nothing wrong. I just feel stupid because I didn't recognize the difference! Ha
But im excited to learn and appreciate all the input!
Soooooo when I had the subject as "HOBBYIST gunsmith" i wasn't thinking $20k in milling and machining tools. Lol!!!
I've seen the Starrett brand.
I have looked into classes and such, but was thinking YouTube university until I get more engaged in gunsmithing...
EDIT: I just read what 92FSTech...
Sooo regarding ammo for the VP9 Tactical, is there any type that should be used more than another??
115 grain? 124 grain? I hear it eats everything, which is great, but if it 'prefers' something specific, I'd like to know.......
So I've been thinking about this a while, but what would be a good "starting kit" for gunsmithing? .....
Short term:
More than field striping a gun.
Replacing sights.
Building a P80 Glock
Long term:

So I had a chat with the Mrs last night about her starting to CCW. She agreed to it, and in regard to carrying in a purse, she has reasonable concerns with it getting snatched and thus her gun would be gone.
Thankfully she wears her purse crossbody which helps, and she also has her head on a...
That's sleek, but the blade of the Benchmade is closer to 4cm not 4"... hehe. :P
If it's for self defense, it looks perfect. I'm actually looking into it for that reason and that it's small so I say thank you for this option. Haha!!
Here's an odd question... if you work where you must wear business casual, would EDC a fixed blade on the ankle? I'm thinking that's the ONLY place to discretely carry a fixed blade.
