      Very true, my G17 is trying to adopt a baby brother right now.

      Wish I would have tried more before I purchased one. I definitely should have gone to the range and rented several before I decided to jump in.

      Spent 400 on a Ruger SR9C. Good gun, but recently traded it in to get into the Glock platform.

      Thanks for the heads up. Gotta love the accessories market for Glocks. Cheaper mag prices are one of the reasons I chose Glock over other manufacturers.

      This is one of the primary reasons I chose to get a Glock instead of another manufacturer. Hard to find other OEM mags for $19.

      Agree with this sentiment completely. Also, I know I will be in the minority with this, but I like the standard sights. The sight picture just makes sense to me.

      What was your first handgun?

      Ruger SR9C. Looked and looked for the dark finish so it wouldn't show as easily when I carried it. Then I never carried it so could have gone with the SS slide after all.

      Agree with this completely. I love the fact that I can take the entire gun apart quite easily. Also feels pretty good in my hands. Not the best, but certainly better than many others. Gen 4 feels better due to the smaller grip frame.

      Thanks for the good idea. I never thought about justifying to the misses for a BUG. I will keep that in mind next time something catches the eye.
