I might come just because I want to have some trigger time, and I would like to see this Tavor. I will bring my at least one AR and some pistols

      Wish I had waited

Well if you can find it around you go for the cheapest you can find. But when it comes to online shopping keep in mind the shipping and the cost of the transfer. You are looking at $20-50 for shipping then another $25 for the transfer.

      Carry Ammo

If overpenetration is an issue. I would suggest switching to fragmentation ammo while you are home. Its a little more expensive but doesnt do well with punching through walls. However, when it hits a human target it will fragment and push into its point of impact. Just something to think about...

      Carry Ammo

Carry what you got. Personally I have some Hornady Critical Defense lying around but prefer my FMJ. Ammo whether it be FMJ or JHP is the same when it hits the bad guy in my opinion. They will feel it and they will think twice about getting the rest of the ammo already loaded in my magazine. I...

Want a new rifle... need an opinion or two...

I would stick with the Ruger American. The bolt works better with a scope as the bolt handle does not travel up as high. My choice would be for the 270 between the two though as the 270 is more popular of a round. The ammo shortage is slowly coming to a halt and when a SHTF situation comes...

Best place to buy an ACOG?

I agree ACOGs are overpriced. Yes the lack of a need for a battery is nice, however, keep in mind that the Tritium has a halflife of 10 years. So 10 years later that sight wont be working as well as it did when you got it especially in low light conditions.

AR-15 and M-16 Show And Tell

Just an FYI to everyone that is not too experienced in sighting in an AR15/M4/M16. The rear sight does not require an elevation adjustment. On A2 models that elevation adjustment was not put there to sight in your weapon so when you look at rear BUIS some have them some dont. Your front sight...

Why no love for the 92FS?

Yea... big problem with composite framed guns and military use would be the abuse the some moron soldier would put the weapon through. Not all soldiers are smart when it comes to weapons maintenance and care. Hell even in training when you have all the time in the world to maintain your weapon I...

Why no love for the 92FS?

The safety only being a decocker is incorrect. It is also a disconnect from the trigger. If you pull the trigger with the safety in the fire position you will notice a box lift up from the slide in front of the rear sight. That box is a firing pin safety that does not disengage unless the...

      Hey, just joined from Indy

Just joined this site and I have been in the Indianapolis area for a bit over a decade. Anyone know when Washington will stop trying to pretend they are experts on guns and trying to ban normal weapons with normal size magazines because they are just too scary looking?

1500: If there is a long line you can wait INSIDE

Yea the whole ammo scare of 2012/2013 is gone but ammo prices from what I am being told from local gun shops will not be going down and any shortages in store are the result of the flee market booths that buy them all up and double the price when it hits their booths.
