Does this sound really light to you?

Normally that's what I do. When I loaded with HS-6 and W231 I've always had good results with loads that were at the lower end of the range given. I got a little overconfident this time and loaded more than a couple though. I'm going to the range tomorrow, I'll see if they even cycle in my...

Does this sound really light to you?

So I've been running my 9mm stash down a little bit lately and since I've got a press setup again I decided to load up some more. The only powder I had on hand is Accurate No.5, and I grabbed some 115 gr Rainier HP from Cabelas (which were surprisingly reasonably priced. I actually found load...

10 Sandy Hook families to sue Bushmaster, Nancy Lanza, and Sandy Hook Township

Someone told me, although I'm not sure how true this is, that there is a law in canada that if you file a damages lawsuit and lose you have to pay the amount you were asking for to the defendant. Definitely would make anyone think twice before asking for some ridiculous sum in a frivolous lawsuit

      NATO mud? Really?

That makes sense, but then why weren't they testing in NATO sand also? Sand can vary quite a bit in coarseness, but they just grabbed any old sand. I guess I just figured if it was a widely accepted standard that I would be able to find more information. If you google ballistic gel you get...

      NATO mud? Really?

So I was reading through another thread on here where a couple of people mentioned the Sig MPX. I was curious about it so I went to their website, and the first thing that pops up is a youtube video advertising the thing. They show the gun firing after being submerged in water, snow, sand, all...

      My timing sucks

Yeah, maybe I should've clarified that a little better. I'm in not trying to put down AO 1911s. I have no experience with them, either positive or negative. Just wanted to share an experience with their customer service, which obviously isn't always the case considering what hps said above me.

      My timing sucks

You'd think so, but a friend of mine bought one of the new Thompsons made by Auto Ordnance. I think that thing fired maybe 10 round successfully. I forget exactly what happened, but AO was completely unwilling to help. Even took it to a gunsmith that knew them really well and was told he had...

Would you trust a clone with your life?

I'd be willing to bet that some of those close are as close if not closer to the original CZ-75 design as my p-07 is and I'd trust my life to that gun in a heartbeat. Some could even argue that an XD is a (heavily) modified Glock clone, and those are great guns. If the gun is reliable and...

      PRC QX-04 Rifling Delayed Blowback

Very interesting for sure, I'd never heard of this or the Savage. I'm going to venture a guess that this is more expensive to produce, so I have to ask what advantages this has over a typical Browning style lockup? Then again, the PX4 has a rotating barrel (albeit an altogether different...

      Gunsmithing a "cheap" gun...opinions!

I'm assuming you're planning on doing the same work to whatever browning you buy? If that's the case, I'd just keep the cheaper clone and pocket the money for something else. If you wanted the Browning just to have something really nice and maybe show off a bit, that's one thing, but when it...

Transporting a handgun to a different state to shoot?

I haven't read through all of the states on that site, but I was under the impression that "duty to inform" applied to concealed carry and not transporting unloaded firearms that are out of reach. I take it there are states where this is not the case?
