What trigger kit to get for my 9mm shield?

In my case I ended up with a MA compliant Shield with a 10+ lb. trigger. The Apex transformed the trigger. I haven't tested the pull but Apex claims it is a 5.5 pull weight but much smother and less gritty.

What trigger kit to get for my 9mm shield?

I recently installed the Apex duty kit in my Shield. The lower trigger springs and new sear were no problem. Removal of the rear sights to install the USB is another story. The guys at ZX Gun in Fort Wayne had a sight pusher and was able to install it with no problem. They were so helpful I went...

Dr. John Lott on "gun free zones"

Nothing wrong with training. We all think we are better than we really are, myself included. I just wouldn't want to see a shoot out with children in the crossfire.

Dr. John Lott on "gun free zones"

I would be all for teachers carrying guns, providing they are well trained, and required to qualify each year.

      Henry HMR17

I have one and it is fantastic. Accurate right out of the box, very smooth action with no feed problems. So much better on groundhogs than a .22. The best looking rifle I own. After you shoot it you will want one for yourself.

      I can only wonder

Yesterday a man in Casper Wyoming killed his father by shooting him in the head with an arrow, then killed himself with a knife. I wonder of the anti gun crowd will now be calling for a ban on bows & arrows, along with knives. Logic says they should. :dunno:

For those who smoke meats over charcoal & wood

That's the way the digiQ works. It's wonderful. FWIW...I usually take my briskets up to 195 - 200. They end up super tender and juicy. At 175 it is just coming off the plateau and still needs a bit longer, but it doesn't take long after 175. Mine usually take 12-14 hours for a full packer...

      Today I am 11 days old.On November 12 at 6am I had a heart attack.

Good to hear it all worked out. I had a similar experience when I was 38. I went to the doctor with chest pain. Next thing he had me in the hospital for a catheterization followed by an angioplasty they didn't have stents back then. My LAD, the widow maker, was 95% blocked. Thirty days later...

Heat it however you want and use a liberal amount of gravy. I also put leftover turkey in gumbo.

I'll be putting my bird on the BGE at 11 a.m. I bought a digi-q a few years ago and it takes all the work out of the process, especially when smoking a brisket or pork butt for 12 to 14 hours or longer. The turkey will take about 6 hours at 325 degrees. For any of you using a BGE this year try...

      James Bond?

When I was 7 it was cowboys and Indians. When 007 appeared on the screen I was 12 and spy movies took over. Shooting the bad guys with guns. Some things never change. :draw:

      Allen Co new guy

Well not new to Allen County been here 37 years, but new to the forum. Found the forum today while looking at holster reviews. I'm also new to concealed carry having just gotten my license in Dec. 2011. Just purchased a 9mm Shield this week and so I was looking for a holster. Anyway glad I...
