I have 4 rf guns I run for steel matches. 2 mkiv 22/45 tactical I run 40gr hv blazers or 40 gr auguila hv.
M&P 15-22 gets cci AR tactical, 10-22 gets fed automatch.
ive been using red dots in competition since the mid 90's. i started actively shooting again 5 years ago with new and different guns. i wanted dots on a couple of them, and not sure of what size/color/ type i really wanted. i picked up a couple of sub $100 dots to try out on 2 different 22LR...
i started playing baseball at a young age ( 2nd/3rd grade). my dad loved to watch or even listen to a ball game,
every night after he got home from work, and dinner was over we would play catch for a little while. i played until my junior year in HS. my dad passed away suddenly at...
the latest trend i see (at least for steel challenge) is a JP. i found a used ruger PC9 that i "tandemized" with a chassis, trigger, charging handle and comp. shot a steel challenge match with it last weekend, gun ran flawlessly all day long with federal and blazer 124gr factory ammo and...
picked up a used ruger PC9 back n march. installed a TK chassis, comp, trigger and charging handle. topped it off with a cmore railway dot. shot a steel challenge match with it last weekend, gun ran flawlessly with federal and blazer 124gr factory ammo.
I hadn't bought a gun for 3 or 4 years until this year. In past years my purchases were all 22lr ammo, couple years ago it was 8000+ rds, paying match fees, and gas for my truck.
All in total this year has been $2500 for ammo, gear, and 1 gun, and match season is just getting started
i had a former co worker like this. several hundred new and used guns, 10,000's of rounds of ammo, had only shot his 2 carry guns and a couple others. ive shot all my guns, 1000's of rounds through my competition guns, i do have a couple guns that my dad owned that have had less than 200 +/-...
I have cmore railway dots on my mkiv 22/45, m&p 15/22, and ruger pc9 cabine. I tried some less expensive dots in the past. The price was great. But I was sending them back just about every year for warranty replacement. Couple of the cmore dots are 2-3 years old 8000rds, with zero problems.
