Funny Political Picture/Video Thread Part 9** The other side is still making it easy!

Couple days ago my wife and I went out to eat in an Italian restaurant. Young guy was our waiter and while removing the salad bowls asked me if he should take my knife. Seemed logical to me I said "I better keep it, you never know when I might have to stab someone." My wife shakes her head...

Indiana tax payers will pay for baby murderer's transvestite surgery

A friend worked as a correctional officer and told me about some of the things he had seen on the job. They had an inmate that cut off his own junk with a plastic knife. Here you go buddy, take this plastic knife and have at yourself. Jim.

POLITICAL pictures - Funny (unlikely), Sad (more likely) Infuriating (most likely)

I remember my grandfather ringing hog noses to keep them from rooting under fences. Makes me think about asking these people if they were a problem to their parents by rooting under their fence. Jim.

      Digital Antenna Recommendations

I am pretty much in a desert when it comes to OTA TV reception. Tried a few different antennas and ended up with a "Channelmaster." I have it mounted 20 feet up and it does better than the original 15 feet. I also have one of their signal boosters which also helps. Jim.

Illinois Assault Weapons and Magazine Ban (PICA) trial begins…

Justice McGlynn will probably rule in the gun owners favor as he has done before, he actually follows the Constitution and the rulings by the USSC. He has also been overturned by the appeals court headed by Easterbrook who cares little about the Constitution or rulings by the USSC. Another...

      Replacing Cell Phone Battery

This last spring my I-8 battery took a serious dump and I am serious cheap so not in the market for a new phone. There is a one man shop in Clinton Indiana that works on phones and games. He put in a new battery for $50.00 and it has been fine since then. Jim.

State of IDPA in 2024 and beyond

I have been shooting IPA for about 20 years and an SO since 2007 and worked as staff on all but one of the ACC state matches. Shot a couple Illinois state matches before they moved to Sparta, but now my sanctioned matches are mostly the Indiana State. Quite a few changes have came about in...

      Hummingbirds Yet

Hate to report this but I found a dead hummingbird in the back yard, across the yard from where I put it on the fence. I assume it tried to fly home but was too weak to make it. Jim.

      Hummingbirds Yet

We have lived here four years now and always had a few hummingbirds around. This year the wife put out a feeder so we have quite a few now. Yesterday I was in the garage, built on the house, and thought I heard one. Figured it was outside near the feeder and the wall is not insulated so...

Grocery stores are moving to digital price tags, good or bad?

Being retired lower weekday prices would be good for me because I try to do most of my shopping then to avoid crowds. Now Menard's is about 35 miles away and I shop there a lot for home projects. There is a local hardware store a mile away and small lumberyard about 12 miles. If I am...

      Black flags

I can't remember where I saw it but I always liked it. Jim. “Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.” ― H.L. Mencken, Prejudices First Series
