      I was checking out Criterion Barrels . Criterion has per fit barrels for the howa 1500 but need a barrel nut, my gun doesn't have a nut. Im thinking the stock would have to be altered for the nut. anything else? would the barrel be a drop in other then the nut work?

      I don't like to use bronze bore brushes (use nylon brushes). I guess I am have to use bronze.

      I picked up a used howa 1500 - 22-250. scoped the barrel, not too bad. No copper but has some hard carbon buildup. I tried JB, some came off but still alot still there. Any suggestions?
