Lots of foreign (to me) troops in the region around that time.
I bet Normandy is the only place where US soldiers feel safer than at home, while being unarmed and in uniform in public.
Everybody want their pictures taken with us.
Lots of US flags everywhere in a lot of towns and villages in Normandy today.
We have a few June 6th bars ...
The one of the house on the left is not properly displayed. The Union should be on the left side.
Lets not turn this into a political thread please.
Your president is in Normandy today to honor our war heroes, he represents their sacrifice and the entire nation.
It's an honor to have the US president on our soil ... no matter who it is and what you might think of him.
Not surprising.
They outlawed so-called "zombie knives" a few years ago. Apparently they are more pointy and dangerous than regular knives ...
Same with dogs. Blame the tool/dog and not the user/owner.
What a bunch of clowns.
They had 220 deaths last year due to drunk drivers but nothing is...
I suppose it depends mainly on your bank, and not so much on the time of card you used.
In France, by law, banks have one day to refund a client in case of card fraud regardless of the type used.
So banks will refund you first, then investigate.
Most people use debit cards to pay for anything here.
You still get fraud protection and can be refunded if you didn't authorize a payment online or anywhere else.
Some use deferred debit card, few use actual credit cards.
