People are nuts on used gun pricing

Yeah, but he did say in 20-30 yeArs. I think if you have an AR in like new condition, you will triple your money easily.

People are nuts on used gun pricing

I would say any AR's. I think it is a matter of time till they are regulated more strictly.

Raccoon(s), free to a good home.

I had trouble killing them with one shot from my .22 rifle. Plus it started to destroy the cage.

Barrels for a Maverick 88 Mossberg 12 gauge

I'm a new shotgun owner. My gun has an 18.5" barrel. I'd like to get a longer barrel so I can use it for other shooting. As a newbie, I thought I'd gain some knowledge here. I assume barrels are manufacturer and mostly model specific. Are there also different types of 28" barrels? Is there...

      My first shotgun......

I went with the Mossburg Maverick 88. Actually just picked it up today. It's raining so I haven't shot it yet. Talking to the gunsmith I had it shipped to, I'm wishing I would have gone with the Remmington. It may not matter much, but he said that the 2 guns are not that different except...

      A new executive order?

I just seen it on Facebook. I gotta say, I had to research it to make sure it was fake. Very well done. I think what helps is that it is not that far fetched. I would not be totally shocked if this really happened. After not seeing it reported anywhere else, I figured it was fake.

      My first shotgun......

Thanks again for the insight. I'll look into an older model. My concern was safety. Since I'm inexperienced with a shotgun, I'm afraid I may not know what to look for initially. However, I'm one who does research on what I own. I can see myself owning 3-4 in the coming years.

      My first shotgun......

That is awesome. I'm just leaning towards buying new for my first one. Then I can expand and go with a classic like that. Is that the wrong line of thinking? Since I will be an amateur to the shotgun game, I thought it would be best. Anyone have any experience with a Catamount?? NEW...

      My first shotgun......

Great advice guys. I am leaning toward both the Mossberg and the Remington. What Re your thoughts on the Stevens shotguns?

      My first shotgun......

A new Mossberg 500 or Remington 870 seem to fall in my range. I've seen new from $250 on up.

      My first shotgun......

That's one I haven't heard of before. After a quick google search, reviews seem to be mixed. While most people say it is a good gun, many say go with the Mossberg 500 or Remington 870.

      My first shotgun......

I have a .22 semi auto rifle and a .38 revolver. I am now in the market for a shotgun. I'm leaning towards a pump action 12 gauge. Price range is from $200 to $350. The only use will be for home defense and the occasional groundhog/raccoon. Mostly just to have it. I've been looking on...
