you can order it from many places and there are several brands. I have the lone wolf and love it.
You will need glock 19/17...
I suggest looking at the 23 or 22 and picking up a lone wolf conversion barrel. That way you can shoot 9mm, .357sig, and .40... instead of getting the 19 or 17 and being limited to 9mm. Then again, if you told me I could only have one gun it would be a 19.
Congrats! :rockwoot:
To be honest with you sir, I couldn't even tell you where to start. As soon as I start typing one topic, 50 more pop up. The worst part is each individual explanation would take me about 50 pages of technical BS to prove one point. I do agree with a majority of the posts, though.

That seems to be the standard, at least from most people I have talked to. Only a few outliers saying "almost a month". The only thing that worries me is this is an sr1911 (they clearly have capacity issues as you can tell from how "rare" they are.) as opposed to something like an SR9. To be...
Status update: I sent the SR on the 20th "guaranteed" overnight air... apparently UPS had some delay in KY on its way to AZ. She was delivered today at 9:47am (I think eastern).
That being the case, subtract one day off the total process time. So far Ruger 1 UPS -1. LOL!

Make sure you get these for the 26 http://www.concealablecontrol.com/
As for holsters I highly suggest this for the 26 http://www.fist-inc.com/holsters/k1/1k.htm...
Im completely ignorant to any effects it might cause aside from damaging brass. I'd imagine not fully supporting the rear of the cartridge and changing the angle cant be good. (For the shot or the ejection). I donate my brass to a friend so it needed to be fixed... I don't "feel" safe with it...
Glock 27 + lone wolf 9mm conversion (use your g19 mags) + .356 sig barrel (use your .40 mags).
Id suggest a 1911 though... the specific one based on your price range. http://www.1911addicts.com/showthread.php?511-Buyer-s-guide-for-all-you-1911-addicts
