Alrighty then. My brother and I took my new XD to Pop Guns yesterday. We got there late, but they let us in for fifteen minutes or so before the range was shut down to shoot a quick box of ammo.
The first of this pics shows the first 10-rounds fired with this gun (upper right-most shot was on...
First, thanks for all the suggestions.
Well, after roaming the gun show *all* day, I decided to go ahead with the idea of a .40. The Ruger SR9c is a nice gun, as well as the Taurus offerings, but the Ruger didn't save me enough size/weight to justify settling for a 9mm, and, well, I'm just not...
Hmm. I don't know. It doesn't look like you can rule out the possibility that the Beretta was dragged deeper in the mud than the Glock from those videos. It doesn't look like the Beretta was shaken out as well, and it was certainly dropped from a higher point.
Interesting videos, though.
You have to know your limits. I'm a bit on the larger side, so I could drink 36oz. of beer without worrying about it too much. Others might be able to drink more or not as much before they start to feel the effects.
It all boils down to whether or not giving up half of that monster beer in...
I wouldn't worry about it, until the need arose. No need to draw undue attention to yourself in that regard.
As for the bill passing, I'm thrilled. This is one of the first times I feel my voice was actually heard, along with everyone else who helped support this bill and make it clear it is...
It's a shame, really. Because a whole generation of punk thug wannabes glorify Glocks - likely because they aren't bright enough to handle anything more than point and squeeze, and to some extent they probably think "Glock" and "Glock-9" just sound cool - an otherwise fine firearm has to...
Just got my carry license last week (Woo-hoo! Ready for a lifetime of carrying :draw:), and I'm really looking forward to this weekend's Indy 1500 gun show. I'm hoping to find something compact and very concealable, but not one of the pocket guns that are so popular right now.
I'm thinking .40...
Yup. A lot of them will claim mil spec, and perhaps even meet that, while still ending up with a lower sporting sloppy bolt catch cut-outs, mag release ports drilled crooked, etc. (both of which have been reported specifically on the Delaware Machinery part, and other brands that are basically...
I don't own an AR (yet, I'm in the process of ordering parts for my first and I've been doing a *ton* of research), but from what I understand, it all boils down to the bolt carrier group and the firing group. If you have quality there, you can just about cobble parts together from anyone and...
Hey everyone. Just stumbled upon this site a few days ago. Looks like a good place to hang out and talk guns.
I've owned shotguns all my life and served in the Army, but I've never owned a handgun. I just sent my permit to carry off to the State Police a few weeks ago, and I'm looking...
