I wanted to share some targets I created to assist in zeroing an Aimpoint optic. They work rather well and make zeroing a quicker process than other targets I've used.
The targets are 'calibrated' for a 50 yard zero and consist of a colored portion that corresponds to the size of the optics dot...
I have a DPMS AP4 in 5.56 that has functioned flawlessly. I haven't had a single problem with the rifle after around 2500 rounds through since I returned from a deployment back in July of 2009. It has mostly seen PRVI Partisan M193, Silver Bear, some Wolf, and reloads made to around M193 specs...
It's a 1944 Springfield... all parts are springfield and it has a 1952 marked re-barrel. It shoots great but I honestly try to keep the round count down on it.
