This is a Spikes Tactical lower receiver
-Rock River Arms parts kit
- NEW UTG butt stock kit
-PSA 20 inch 5.56 NATO FN complete upper
- Target Sports (CDNN Investments) Carry handle/ rear sight
Took me about 4 hours on the lower, but I am very careful to avoid problems. Even with being careful I managed to cross-thread the screw that goes into the buffer tube. Luckily I had the right tap and die to clean up my mess before it became a nightmare.
The bolt screwed right in after the tap and die work.
The upper took me 5 minutes.
I haven't shot my rifle yet; but with a 20 inch hammer forged barrel made by FN and with a 1:7 twist, I am expecting some good groups (after I get it sighted in).

This is the rifle I have wanted my whole life. At least since I saw the first ones back in the 60's.
I used to have an ACS and really didn't care for it too much and traded it off for another CTR. So.....since the new stocks are pretty much a redesigned ACS I probably won't get one. Unless I see it in person first to decide if I like it
The AR is a S&W upper with railed gas block, MOE handguards with MOE rail sections, and the foregrip is a Gripods bipod/grip system
The lower is a Surplus arms Multi-cal lower. Cmmg trigger/hammer pack, Mil-Spec tube and buffer assembly with a Mag-Pul ACS stock round out the lower.
The second rifle is an STG 556 MSAR (Steyr AUG clone). The factory optic is no go..so leaning towards Mepro 21 or a 3x ACOG knock off for now.
