Cast bullets work great in micro groove rifles. Gas check and fill the throat with a large diameter bullet (0.360-0.361").
i don't understand how a bullet casting company doesn't have 200ish grain 35 cal rifle mold!
If you can shoot MOA at 100 yards you will not have any trouble killing a deer. Make sure you don't kill two...or four. That 500 grain slug will penetrate just about anything that gets in its way.
If you can find factory ammo any hand loader with a bullet puller, trimming setup and 35 rem dies can make you legal ammo. But to answer your question, I haven't heard of anyone making 1.8" 35 Rem for sale.

What is your twist rate? That big bullet is way overkill for deer but I've used a 450 grain bullet on deer so I have no room to talk!
make sure your barrel can get it spinning fast enough for accuracy other than that it will be a killer combo.
You will never keep them in a leg hold. All you will find is a flipped off trap with some groundhog toes. Use a 220 conibear. Keep the dogs in the house while the traps are set.
My my experience with berry plated bullets in a 357 mag were not good (poor accuracy and copper fouling) with 2400 or lilgun. H110 will probably be similar to worse.
