      What's Your Next Handgun?

Been thinking about another 1911, but I want a 9mm. Looked at a Colt 1911 in 9mm and it did nothing for me at all. I picked up a CZ75 clone. Thinking that may have done it for me. I do believe it's going to be a CZ75. I had a clone some time back and sold it, this time it will be a CZ.

      What's Your Next Handgun?

I knowit's not a "real" 1911. There are those here that may even turn their nose up at that Browning. Personally I think it's a sweet little 380. I have the Rock Island Baby Rock and love it. Really would like to have the Browning as well.

So.. what are you reloading at the moment??

Finally got most every thing done and put away in my new house. With the OT at work, and life in general, reloading was put on hold. I ordered 1000 FMJ 9mm bullets from Everglades Ammo last Monday. I've loaded up almost 700 and have more on the way. I'm prepping 223 brass and cleaning 9mm brass...

      Suggested .223 powders

I use H322 in my 223. Not sure how it would meter since I use a chargemaster. I did look on Hodgens site and they do show a load for 77 grain bullets.

      How long???

I was told by Wabash PD that if my permit expires and I do not have my new permit, I can not carry. It was a change in the law about 5 years ago...

      How long???

Just curious how long it's been taking to get your carry permit after everything has been filed. Paid the local fee yesterday and was wondering how long of a wait I have. Current permit expires 8-8. Thanks guys...

      Things I hate about reloading

I have a small 8x8 room in my basement, block walls. Room has been there a long time. I decided to use it for my reloading room. My basement stays cool and the humidity is kept under control with dehumidifiers. It's a great setup and is working out great. Now I just need more time to shoot so I...

      Lighting up the reloading room...

What do you guys use? I have heard that fluorescent lights can cause problems with digital scales. Is this true? I wanted to use fluorescent lighting but not if it will cause me issues. Let me know guys, currently trying to get the reloading room set up in the new house. Thank you everyone.

Looking to Start Loading .45 ACP

Completely agree with you. Lead is getting a little more difficult to get. I have several 5 gallon buckets of wheel weights. I have to sort for zinc, but i only paid .20 cents a pound. I can still buy all i want for $1 a pound, thats still pretty good. Alot of good options for bullets. In my...

      Pistol caliber carbines

Thanks guys. Will more than likely try plated and coated and see how they run. FMJs start getting a little expensive after awhile. Thanks again for your time guys...

      Pistol caliber carbines

Just curious how many people here use plated bullets in their 9mm carbines? Seems like a cheaper alternative to FMJ, if they stay under 1200 fps.
