That's fair. When treated as a game it's entertaining. Between my commute and other obligations I drive >100 miles/day, so although I do play the game I'm much less obsessed with speed than safety.
Only on INGO am I considered a "flaming lefty," but if that's what it takes to avoid stressing myself into a heart attack over an extra thirty seconds of commute I'll wear the title with pride. Seriously, life is finite. Why not try to enjoy it rather than getting worked up over trivialities?
Are you guys transporting human organs for transplant? Between this and the traffic outrage thread I'm baffled as to why seconds seem to matter so much. :dunno:
Finally, decent weather.
I'm so tired of spending most of the time stuck inside on a treadmill. Running indoors combined with having to take two weeks off due to illness have been a huge drain on motivation:
At least I've burned through my audiobook queue more quickly than usual...
What is that, five miles? Truly a huge inconvenience worthy of rage.
I'm more concerned with morons who drive way too fast and risk, say, plowing into the back of a car and killing an infant.
Telecom in the US is a complete joke. Most people don't seem to care that we pay insane rates for awful service over increasingly inadequate infrastructure. I'm just thankful that my ISP is only mostly terrible and doesn't cap my data usage.
