I feel confident that the version of events wherein two men brush against one another in the doorway, then immediately begin a protracted gunfight that I've heard on the news is entirely accurate and entirely due to the death of civility. Ms. Manners would not approve. Obviously young people...
I honestly don't know what the 2nd Amendment Foundation is up to at the moment, but they were the real movers for a while there. Let's not forget Heller. Too bad they had their own PR SNAFU.
I've shot a few, but never had one apart. Never shot a converted non-B either, but it seems it would be optimal.
Understand though that I can't even muster the will to call Angus and have him do it. I'm sure as heck not going to tear apart a pistol and do it myself. It will remain an idle...
Nah, the NRA is about selling me terrible wine, commemorative plates, and lies about the blue helmets taking away my guns. They do some good, but I'm pretty sure it's mostly accidental. :stickpoke:
Honestly though I wish I could go get a coffee with a carbine slung across my back and have no...
Did anyone else run the Mini? I didn't hit my goal but was running with an injured groin and in light of that felt OK about my time. It took two weeks to heal enough that I could get back out there. Currently doing a Hal Higdon training plan in preparation for the Indy marathon.
Fingers crossed...
Torque? Twerk? What kind of forum is this, anyway?!
Anyway the G17 is the second best Glock, right behind the G34. Too bad they're too big to carry comfortably IWB, for me at least. :yesway:
The 9mm Shield really is a nice pistol. Wish they'd produce a version without the vestigial safety so I could feel comfortable carrying one.
edit: Ha! Just noticed this.
As much as I'd like to see the normalization of bearing arms in public, if only so I could open carry without worrying about it, the fact is that in most places non-"gun people" see the guys swarming into the local greasy spoon with AR-15s as weirdo gun nuts.
But the NRA can't actually...
THis is very funny. Pretend I posted something about the inherent "freedom" of segregated lunch counters and also business owners shooting themselves in the foot to claim a pyrrhic victory. Thanks in advance! :patriot:
I've wanted to have Angus convert an 85 Combat to single action to get the best possible trigger (no block in the Combat), but too much effort. Someone do that and report back with pictures.
Of course not. You're not very good at this reductio ad absurdum thing.
Understood. I was criticizing danielocean03's comment, which is why I quoted it in my first post.
That's irrelevant. I was not endorsing the men's actions but questioning a poster's glee at their misfortune. What's the...
I agree that they made a foolish decision. Obviously one should not seek to emulate their example. That doesn't make it a heartwarming tale, and taking pleasure in the misfortune of men who act with good intentions, no matter how ill-advised said actions might be, strikes me as odd in the most...
Such mature, well-reasoned commentary, poster 88GT. Would you say that I'm a big, smelly poopyhead too?
