I'm so glad I looked at this. I'll be grabbing up that E9000 with synthetic line for mine. Took my rig on her annual trip to Harlan a couple weeks ago. So i picked the gun up the other day. Then got to shoot it a couple hours ago and I am super impressed with it. This was my first time shooting prone, we put the target up at around 50 yards. thats 35 rounds BTW. I got in a hurry a few times and pulled the trigger at the wrong time... -

Marlin 60 vs. Remington 597
No experience with the Remington but I bought a Marlin Model 60 a few years ago and I love it. It'll eat any ammo you put in it and seems to jam up a little bit when it gets dirty but thats with bulk pack ammo. I added a 10/22 to the gun cabinet right beside it! :D -
