I've never understood how it is possible to carry a smartphone everyday without breaking it. I have a one year old "ruggedized" flipper that is currently held together with epoxy.
That being said, my wife and I have a Motorola Droid that sits around the house as a backup. Both her and I rarely...
This is what I may end up doing this year. Wait until after muzzleloader season, then sneak out with a bow where there aren't other hunters. Thanks for all the input guys.
I just got bumped off the private land I've been hunting for the past 5 years due to new management. Absolute worst time of year for this to happen and now I'm in a panic. It's prime bow season and I need to act fast. My only option is to prowl the public locations now. I need to know what to...
I soaked the bit in vinegar for a few days, then scrubbed it with steel wool. After of which I neutralized it with baking soda, and then polished it using various grades of sandpaper (down to 600 grit). The rust blue finish was put on using Mark Lee Express Blue.
And here's the sheath. My buddy made it. Why is it pink? I gifted the hatchet to my sister who lives in Seattle.
Can someone tell me why there is a 5mb cap on attached pictures?
Wish I had before pics. The hatchet is a "Trumpeter" German made piece found at a garage sale. The handle is hickory from my neighbors back yard, finished in linseed oil.
I've been setting up ground blinds and clearing paths to sneak through. I've decided this year I'm staying on the ground. My butt hurts just thinking about sitting in a tree stand.
So today I was in a rush to get a campfire going. The pit was damp and so was the wood I had at hand. I decided to try out some used motor oil I've been hoarding in the garage. I thinned out the oil with about 1/3 part gasoline and soaked an old t-shirt in the solution. Long story short, I...
I say we legalize all drugs. One giant free for all: smoke, snort, shoot, huff, anything you want. And then we wait for evolution to work its magic. When the smoke clears (pun intended), the emerging society will be a pot free utopian super force ... or just a bunch of burnt out hippies that...
Just to play devil's advocate here, the slow motion video looks like the kid flipped off the front wheel and had his feet hanging off of the wing before being tossed over. Just an observation, I'm not condemning either way.
Yeah I have less than 50 posts, but I'm not going to be paranoid...
My Grandmother is living proof of America's dark quarantine past. She spent over 6 years in a Chicago sanatorium for latent tuberculosis. During of which she was forced to have a lung removed, else threatened to never be able to leave. Removing the lung did nothing for the tuberculosis...
"Lubrimatic" is the best you can buy, and they are cheap. I strongly recommend avoiding the pistol grip guns and getting an old fashioned lever greaser with a solid (not flexible hose) pipe. It should last you a lifetime. - Your friendly neighbourhood boat mechanic.
I agree strongly with this. I have began stocking up on "non-power" tools for this reason. It's critical to have a good axe on hand with files, sharpening stones, etc. Even if you don't live in the woods, there is no reason not to be prepared to survive in the woods. I recommend learning how...
