45 long colt or 45-70 government

I'm loading for both calibers. I do agree that 45 colt is cheaper and fun, but I've had really good luck with 45/70 reloads that are light and fun to shoot. Either can be loaded with black powder and still achieve good results and the fun factor, with the modern propellants though, you can get...

      Gun safe move

When I moved mine we used a vending machine dolley. It handled my 1300 pound safe just fine. It worked great because it was a little taller than similar dolleys of same weight range

      N00b LoadMaster question

There's 2 things you can do. The plastic part that the lever hits to index the shell plate can be screwed in and out to adjust the timing. There is also a bolt on the bottom that can be unscrewed and you can adjust the whole carrier to advance or retard the timing of press.

      245 grain 45???

The round flat point is almost a dead give away for 45 colt. Now I do believe some people actually do load 45 colt bullets into 45 ACP brass, but that is an entirely different discussion

How do I get the new plastic LTCH?

Anybody have any info on how long a change of address was for the new card? I moved and figured it was as good time as any to get a new plastic card. I paid 10/22 and everything says approved, website hasn't updated my address yet

      Storing reloaded ammo

Make sure they are the .50 cal cans and not the .30. There is a considerable size difference

For some reason "reproduce like jack rabbits" comes to mind when talking about Springfields

Yea you'll notice that you won't save money, just shoot more for the same amount of $. I think shooting lead bullets I'm down to roughly $.12/rd.

Will do. I always keep a good supply of 45ACP reloads on hand just in case

      Beware counterfeit tires

Actually BFG/Michelins are a French brand, but it's all I run on my trucks. My brother works in the local BFG plant and has more than likely laid hands on all the All Terrains I have put on my trucks

No problem! Congrats on the loaded, if I was closer I'd suggest a range date
