      Gun ownership is at an all time high, yet cops like me are being murdered on the job at much lower rates. This is just a personal thought- I've never really sat down and crunched the numbers, but I'm much more afraid of being hit by a car than a bullet.

      The grounds keeper's bosses all have big moist steamy fly infested blobs of dog feces for brains. Had the man left the weapon there, at worst, some kid would have found it and got himself or another hurt. At best, evidence of a serious crime would have been potentially lost or destroyed.
