This is a great point, and something I'm trying to keep in mind. I'm not really in a hurry, but it would be nice to at least know that they are in possession of the lower receiver. UPS just "lost" some jewelry I had ordered for my wife so I'm a bit sensitive about where my stuff is right now.
This is a good idea, and I am definitely going to have a conversation with them when I go in. I don't purchase firearms often enough to be memorable I'm afraid, but I'll ask what their preferences are for the future.
Good afternoon all, and Merry Christmas!
I don't often have funds to purchase a new firearm, but finally landed a great job, and am treating myself to a new rifle. I found the lower I wanted on PrimaryArms.com, and purchased it. I filled out the info for my local FFL (I chose ZX Guns, due to...
I built my first AR-15 pistol last week, and had a great time doing so. Nothing fancy, just a Palmetto State classic kit. I was wondering, what are the benefits of going the SBR route? Would it be mostly to allow me to put a regular stock and vertical grip on it, should I want to? Looking for...
Don't underestimate the difference a good belt can make. I switched belts to a better one, and it allows me to wear IWB comfortably, and I can get it tight enough that it rides where I want it, doesn't move, and allows me to walk normally. I try to ensure my position doesn't interfere with my...
After painting, do you clear coat the paint job at all? Or just keep it as-is?
I've also been thinking about painting my AR for a while, but haven't gotten around to it. I do a bit of airbrushing, and I could get some cool effects with that, but the paint I would use would require a clear coat...
I started out with the Lee Precision Breech Lock Challenger Kit, which came with everything I needed to get started. I also considered it a bonus that none of the components require electricity to run.
As everyone said, not a great time to get into reloading, or be in reloading in general...
I used some of my birthday and Christmas money to pick up a Leatherman Wingman. Won't be caught without it. Not really a "defensive" EDC knife, but it does everything else! I use it almost every day.
One of my good friends had his roscoe leap from the holster and clatter to the floor of a bathroom stall in a public bathroom. I do not let him forget this moment in his life. He's on INGO, and if you read this buddy... you know who you are.
Hey all, probably a stupid question here, but I'm curious - I normally just reload .223, but am going to expand to 9mm as soon as I can get the die set. With reloading components being very scarce, I'm starting to look at some of these lead cast bullets. Now, my Glock owner's manual states to...
I did my research and couldn't find anyone else talking about this holster, so I thought I'd share my thoughts, for what they are worth.
I've wanted one of the Urban Carry holsters ever since I saw the ads for the G2 online. I finally picked one up a couple months ago, as I wanted to try it out...
Ha! Ironically I picked up a Magpul Glock Mag after work, and as I paid I thought to myself, "Yeah, probably should have just paid the $20 to support the site for a year." It is certainly on my list to do when my allowance resets...
