Yup. You sure can!
I will post all the necessary information for my rifle competition later tonight or early tomorrow! You'll definitely want to check it out before heading to the range Saturday! :D
Sounds like a plan! You see, my problem is that I am a bit of a "neat freak". I hate having to set up a bunch of stuff, only to be forced to put it all away after I use it. That's why I am wanting to wait on reloading until I can devote an adequate amount of space to set everything up and...
Thanks for all the helpful information!
Unfortunately, I LOVE my 96FS, and have no plans to part with her anytime soon! ;)
I can't believe I spaced the who "legality" aspect when I asked about buying some ammo from you! :n00b: I'll definitely have to try out some of your rounds though! I...
Winchester is fine with me. I usually buy the 100rd boxes of .40 for my Beretta 96FS and haven't had any problems. Coincidently, the 9mm will also be shot through my 96FS, as i recently bought a 9mm barrel and mags.:): Do you happen to know if Winchester sells 9mm in 100rd "value packs" and if...
Alright. Thanks for the info! I have never shot any lead bullets through any of my guns, but I'm not really opposed to that option. For what reasons would someone be opposed to shooting lead bullets in their guns? :dunno:
I will definitely have to try out some of your reloads...
I believe the Walmart down here usually sells 100 rounds of 9mm FMJ for $20-$25. I suppose I'd call that cheap? :dunno:
*EDIT* - My tired mind may be playing tricks on me about what my local Walmart sells 100rds of 9mm for. Regardless, I'm fairly certain it is in the $20-$30 range, and I...
I'm not a huge fan of TulAmmo, but I like Federal and Winchester. Thanks for the heads up! I actually pass through Merrillville on my way to Valpo. Hopefully they'll still have some in stock Friday! :D
As another random question: Would those of you attending the Meet-N-Shoot rather have...
Does anyone up in NWI know of any places with reasonably priced 9mm IN STOCK? I called all three Walmarts in the Lafayette area, and not a single one had ANY 9mm FMJ in stock or even any at their warehouses...:dunno:
I won't be in DA REGION until mid to late afternoon on Friday. I don't...

Valid points all around. I'm definitely going to have to give some steel ammo a look. I do clean my guns regularly. (usually after every time I shoot) But boy do I hate cleaning my AR! :): So much fun to shoot, but such a PITA to give a solid cleaning!;)
Also, if you didn't see my edit in...
Valid point. I think my main reason for always buying brass cased ammo is that I remember reading something about steel cased ammo being "dirtier". Is that true, or a load of bull? If it's true, I am wiling to pay extra for brass cased ammo because cleaning my AR is already enough of a PITA...
If I did my math right, it would cost me roughly $425 for 1k of Federal .223 from Walmart. So I would be saving $25 going with the XM193. Anyone know the quality comparison between Walmart's Federal and XM193? I've never tried the XM193's, but I've always had good results with the Federal...
To all you who shoot a lot of .223/5.56 in here, I've got a question. I'm thinking about picking up a bunch of 5.56 before the next Meet-N-Shoot, but I need some advice, as I've never bought any ammo in "bulk" before.
Is $400 out the door for 1k rounds of Lake City XM193 on stripper clips a...
My Google-Fu must be weak today. I can't seem to find a 16" barrel from ATI anywhere. Do you know if 16" drop in barrels exist for ATI's 522 series?:dunno:
Interesting topic...:+1:
I am 23 years old and I live on my own. Although I live independently from my parents, I do not have any problems with them. I do not have a will. Until my recent boating accident, I owned a fairly large collection of firearms. Legally speaking, what would happen...
