Yeah, I saw something about downloading a .zip file, but it was a dead link. Looks interesting. Does anybody know what kind of revolver that is, the larger photo with the holster?

local theater manager wants metal detectors

Wow, much respect to the owner for his email response! It does show us how the media will spin the heck out of anything someone says to further their agenda. Whatever happened to getting facts straight and reporting a story correctly?

local theater manager wants metal detectors

We are probably going to see a push for more and more metal detectors everywhere in the near future. Fear seems to make people give up their rights at the drop of a hat.

      Where did you OC today?

I do not OC very often, and to be honest I'm not a huge fan, but today my kids actually asked me too after watching the news. So we visited Office Depot, Staples, and Penn Station in Noblesville with no incident, weird looks, or panic in the streets.

10 Dead In Colorado Theater Shooting

I just saw the press conference. Unfortunately this looks like a situation nobody could have been prepared for. The shooter was heavily armed and wearing all kinds of bullet proof type clothing, even a throat guard. Regardless, with tear gas wreaking havoc, it would have probably been impossible...

      combat pawn shop?

I am speechless. The only thing I can say is if a group of tacticool idiots were barrel sweeping me as I was getting gas across the street, they would have a serious problem on their hands.

Excellent Example of how an armed citizen protected his fellow citizens

This gentleman is a hero. I wonder if he was ex-police or military? He sure looked cool, calm, and collected while taking care of business.

Is asking people about their carry weapon okay?

I don't mind if done in a respectful manner. I'm always up for helping to educate folks, learning something new myself, or meeting new people to talk guns with.

      First timer

Congratulations!!! It really does become a part of you, and you will probably start buying clothes to fit your guns and guns to fit your clothes.

      What are the odds?

The odds of accidental discharge in a modern firearm are very low, especially if you are taking proper care of the weapon. The odds of a thug denying your request to "hold on a second" while you put one in the pipe are extremely high.

Just had a knock at the door...

Seems like standard operating procedure for a stranger at the door regardless of hour to me.
