At what point do you adjust stock sights to hit dead center?

You have a group, now adjust the sights to move the group to center mass. Nothing to be frustrated about, move the sight, Fire for Effect.

Yes, There are 4 Rules: Man Charged for Involuntary Manslaughter

Agreed, in the same manner that Henry Ford brought us the Model T, we have since moved on to more efficient methods of modern industry. The model T was and is still an amazing accomplishment, but it doesn't have airbags, therefore has been relegated to being historically significant, yet...

Yes, There are 4 Rules: Man Charged for Involuntary Manslaughter

A big virtue of the 3 rules approach is that it doesn't matter whether or not the gun is loaded or unloaded. There is no differentiation to be made, no intellectual gray area to confuse noobies. Just 3 simple rules, 25% more efficient than 4 rules. Systematic, step by step rules.

Yes, There are 4 Rules: Man Charged for Involuntary Manslaughter

great post. For the record, I'm a 4 rules guy, however, when I think of safety for the masses, 3 rules makes more sense to me. If we agree that both 3 rules AND 4 rules are safe when adhered to, then it becomes elementary for me. 3 rules, one less rule, same effect, 25% more efficient when...

Yes, There are 4 Rules: Man Charged for Involuntary Manslaughter

Any chance we could get back on topic? 3 rules vs 4 rules. Let's discuss the subject instead of each other. It's easy to get sucked in, I'm guilty of it as well. Just remember that a great many of these threads are read and evaluated by people who never post on them. That being said, make a...

Yes, There are 4 Rules: Man Charged for Involuntary Manslaughter

Feel free to read through the 47 pages of the thread I started in which I debated the virtues of the 4 rule system. I get where you're coming from, I'm just migrating to a different set of core beliefs in regard to gun safety for the masses. It's all good...

Yes, There are 4 Rules: Man Charged for Involuntary Manslaughter

The irony is that I was on the other side of this debate not too long ago and have given it considerable thought. I will agree that the purpose is to establish a mindset, but that is not a universal concept. It's apparent that 2 "mindsets" are developed, one with a loaded firearm and one that...

Yes, There are 4 Rules: Man Charged for Involuntary Manslaughter

I think this is the perfect example of the 3 rules vs 4 rules debate, IE, people treat handguns differently if they think they are unloaded. The more I think about this, the more I like the 3 rules model.
