What's the LOUDEST gun you own?

National Military History Center near Auburn

If it's the same one I'm thinking of I was there back when they pretty much had everything thrown into one big room (spring of '03 I think)... no exhibits or anything. They have a TON of WWII era military vehicles. Looks like they added a bunch of other stuff with the exhibits now too.

[Across the pond] Britain to Install CCTV Cameras in Private Homes

It seems the articles about the CCTV cameras in homes may not be entirely correct... not that it changes much. DCSF News Respect - Members - What is a family intervention project? I just wonder when the UK will wake up and do something about their government... :dunno:

      What do I do?

The application says, quite clearly, to submit documentation/recommendation regarding your mental health if you check yes to that question. Additionally, the first part of IC 35-47-2-3 (c) only specifies the information that must be collected on the application. It does not say that my official...

      What do I do?

The way I read it at least, it seems that it's perfectly legal for them to request the information I just provided them with (the note). I didn't mean to imply that they were holding it, I never requested for them to just send it on as that probably would have resulted in a recommendation for...

      What do I do?

And another update... I finally got in to see my doctor... everything is sorted out now. I had the note within 10 minutes of going in, with only a few questions. It got dropped off at the police department today and I'll be going back in a week to hopefully get it sent off to the state police. :)

      What do I do?

Just a little update... I didn't hear a thing from them all week. So I called yesterday and asked if the doctor was in - big surprise, she was out sick. Apparently has been in for one appointment all week. She's been sick, I get it. But I have my needs. So basically what I'm going to do is...

      C&R License

      Yup!

      What do I do?

I'm not entirely sure, but there's no reason why she (or any other doctor at that) wouldn't give me a 'clean bill of mental health'. It's only Asperger's... I'm no different than a 'normal' person except to when it comes to my thought process (very logical, abstracts are pretty much a foreign...

      What do I do?

Already got a headstart on that... talked to them today, said that if she can't see me in person, then she needs to get in touch with me over the phone. (And I do plan on calling them if I don't hear from her.) I would just call her, but the schedule is NUTS!

      What do I do?

It's worded exactly as I have it above... it really threw me off when I was filling it out as I was expecting "adjudicated" myself (and I can honestly answer no to that one)... Application for Handgun License ^pretty much identical to the paper form...

      C&R License

I sent in the paperwork for mine on June 1st... It was approved and I had the license in hand 2 weeks, 5 days later.... but getting the forms themselves took 2-3 months from the time I requested them.

      What do I do?

When I can't get my LTCH application past the CLEO... This is turning into a huge headache... I went in to apply on June 1st, filled it all out, paid the local fees, fingerprints... and I checked yes for the question that reads "Have you ever been treated for psychiatric health care or an...

How Do You Refrain From Buying Firearms?

I just look in my wallet... then cry when I realize I'm completely broke and can't afford to buy another shiny new 'toy' :'(

      My "new" .22 :D

They do, it's called a 'qualified license.' There's no point really though, it isn't any easier to obtain than an unlimited license, it's just more limited and *slightly* less expensive... Thanks for all the comments BTW, I'm really itching to get out and have some fun with this :D

      My "new" .22 :D

There are a few exceptions to the LTCH requirement, unfortunately none of them include taking it to the range. This pretty much covers the exceptions... there are more but they mostly apply to law enforcement/military. See the link I posted above, it answers pretty much anything you need to...

      Indiana LTCH and SBS laws?

Indeed, I'm curious enough about it that I'm not going to be bothered by long boring legal details... Of course a link or something would do just fine too :)

      My "new" .22 :D

License To Carry Handgun - I need it because Indiana has some really goofy laws when it comes to 'carrying' a handgun. See this... https://www.indianagunowners.com/forums/general_firearms_discussion/16185-ingunowners_faqs_sticky.html#post187167
