      Knob Creek

I going to try to get there early enough to not have to park in the lower lot (mud pit). Would you think I'm crazy if I head out now? Just wanting to be towards the front of the line.

      Redneck road rage.. funny

By continuously driving in the left hand lane even though doing the speed limit she left herself open to dangerous drivers like that. He could have very easily wiped both of them out, & taken a few others with them just from the actions of the two. In my opinion both are guilty of aggressive...

Where to buy 80% AR-15 lowers in Centeral/Southern Indiana.

A bunch of klowns on here that can't answer a simple question. I don't know why they are dodging a question like that for, I guess they don't know it is completely legal to purchase 80% receivers. That is there bad luck more for us. How often do you clean your firearms?

Some of my guns I shoot corrosive ammo so I clean them right as soon as I get home. Others like my AKs can wait a little while as long as no corrosive ammo was used through them.(they are tough enough to handle it) My few Pistols get cleaned after the corrosive ammo guns.

      Cold Bluing

I use the Birchwood Casey cold blue this is the procedure I use. The trick to a good cold blue is preparation, and heat but not a lot of heat. But hot enough that it is uncomfortable to hold for a long time. (don't burn yourself) 1. You need to prep the parts to be blued, sandblast, or glass...

If any LEOs in here, what do you recommend for .223 home defense?

You could try a AR in pistol length instead of finding a lower speed .223 round. The shorter length barrel will give you a lower FPS (less penetration) than the longer barrel & better mobility as you move through sweeping your home.

Lets talk AR uppers. Take a newb to school.

I just hope you didn't get ripped off. The JSE uppers are good uppers I have a few of them, but if you buy from JSE they almost always sell there uppers as complete uppers that have bolt, bolt carriers, & charging handles. Take a look at this one in your price range. JSE 16" LW Carbine 1x9 SS...

No Cameras allowed in the gun show???

The sign says "No Cameras allowed in the gun show", but everyone was taking pictures with cell phones. So why bother having a sign not allowing them if you let everyone to use cell phones? :dunno: I have seen a few cell phones that take better pictures that some cameras, so what is up are cell...

      ATTENTION DEER HUNTERS (funny)

Yes deer can smell human estrus & can get attracted to the scent. I know a guy that used his wife's used tampons to hang in a trees around his tree stand to attract deer. The only problem with it it seems to only attract the young bucks. I guess you could add some mature doe estrus to it to...

      Building an AK

I have built many AK's for my own use & in todays market you can not build cheaper than buying one off the shelf unless you have all the tools needed already. But if you want a better AK than the cheap junk on the shelf your best bet is to build. Here are a few links I used to help get you...

Judge rules against the DNR on canned hunts

Pinned deer don't act the same as wild deer, they don't know man as a predator they will just stand there & get shot. That is not hunting it is just slaughter no less than the cows or pigs from the farm at the slaughter house.
