Interesting thread. Caliber choice depends on location and conditions. Wife uses her 350 Legend. I use a .308 for areas that have open area that extend the hunting range. In the tight woods, I use a 45-70 or 30-30. Variety is the spice of life!

It is a right handed bow. It looks like a Samik takedown. I would not try to repair the limb tip. Having that come apart at full draw would not be fun. Hopefully you can purchase new limbs. I would start by doing an internet search and then look at Lancaster Archery. They used to be dealers.
