The only one secret service in my circle says their job is to protect the president or anyone else they are told to, with zero political bias. I know their beliefs, and they don’t allow it to affect their role in the slightest.
I would imagine if I was I charge of the Secret Service, or even one mission, and all summer long every summer, there were 90+ degree hot roofs potential threats could use, I would research a portable thermal barrier for use during similar circumstances. Or at a minimum utilize drone surveillance.
Good for you! I highly recommend F-class John, Winning in the wind, and Erik Cortina on YouTube. Also, anything you can find online written by Alex Wheeler. Another gold mine to ponder is the story of the Houston Warehouse. A great article I like to return to...
With a mild pistol load that isn’t a bubba’s pissin hot load way above max published, I wouldn’t think twice. With rifle, I’d prob drop a half grain and test velocity if I had developed the load with non-magnum primers. I’ve never done a side by side, but I do believe I’ve ended up with very...
This just in. He used a DPMS with a 5.56 mm diameter.
“The FBI has also found more than a dozen guns at the family’s home. Law enforcement sources tell Fox news that the rifle Crooks used at Trump’s rally on Saturday was a DPMS AR-15 that uses ammunition with a 5.56 mm diameter.”
Ya, I love their factory crimp dies. If you don’t yet, get a stiff nylon brush and brush your case necks with a drill 3-5 seconds until they are warm after brass prep and see if your SD shrinks. Alex Wheeler preaches this and I’ve loved it. 15 SD is still excellent, and much lower doesn’t...
I primarily use Redding dies. I’ve never had a need to get fancier, they are excellent. Wilson if I’m inline seating at the range testing seating depth. 21st century mandrels and SAC bushings, comparators, etc
Well, I guess more like $1400 on mine. For me, peace of mind and speed. I use an FX120i and a Supertrickler, but have used Auto trickers in the past. It can be accurate within 0.02 of a grain, and once programmed, throws them pretty consistently (I keep mine at +/- .02 (.04 resolution) for...
I don’t even load for pistol or .223 anymore, just precision and rifle competition loads. This hobby used to be about saving money, until you are buying $1000 tricklers. Lol At least I ended up with 25k BR2 match primers before the last price hike.
Can’t say I would have gone if I knew we were doing it, but we were spaced about 30 yards width and everyone was safety conscience. Probably would not want to do again.
