Looking for a reasonable price on a G43. Doesn't have to be like new but needs to be in good shape. FTF driving distance from Fort Wayne. I'm in no hurry and I know where to buy one new so please don't offer me one at new prices. Thanks.
I always carry at church. It's concealed. Some people say it's not appropriate to have a killing machine in church. I agree, People at church shouldn't be distracted from their purpose because they see my gun. So... If they can't see my piece, it can't disturb their peace.
Interesting side discussion about "should I call the police?" Its funny, because some of our LEOs bring up, "should I go to a doctor?" The answer is the same for both. Probably not unless you really need to. Both can save your life but contact with both increases your risk of accidental injury...
Rule #1 keep your fingers off the Pom poms until you are ready to shake them.
Rule #2 never wave your Pom Pom at anything you are unwilling to destroy.
Rule #3 you should look good in a mini skirt to be issued Pom poms.
Rule #4 there is no rule #4
This is is a mind-set problem. I can't speak to the street value of what he learned, but it's irrelevant because he was not mentally prepared to fight.
Some martial arts are more useful than others. Having participated in several, I can honestly say I have leaned a lot of Bullshido along with "real" fighting skills. I've been involved in a handful street fights and I'm a strong believer in open hand training.
At one place I train they teach to use "command voice" to tell the dude to stop doing whatever. Do you feel like that would have helped/do it in the future (I assume you will continue to shop at Walmart) or do you feel like raising your voice st the young man would have been fruitless?
exactly. But you consider yourself safe while directly violating two rules. Because at some point real life requires you to use judgment.
In Highpower matches the next heat is often at the line though not handling a weapon. Theoretically.
Where the NDs resulting in injury occur are people...
How about rifle ranges or matches? You clear your gun so it's unloaded. Oops, I mean it's always loaded. Then you walk down range to check and change your target while a handfull of rifles are pointed in your direction. Safe? Not safe? Judgment.
I get you. But how do you assimilate that with the fact that nearly all of us break at least one rule On a regular basis? Nearly everyone who carries muzzles themselves or another during the day. We ignore it because the gun is in a (hopefully quality) holster. I would wager that the vast...
clearly he was not experienced, nor did he have good judgment. I didn't say experience is an excuse to be foolish.
maybe "experienced" wasvthe wrong word. Let's say "skilled" or "having mastery of." A phrase that implies you aren't dumb as a brick.
I'm a huge fan of the maxpedition Jumbo Versipak if you're only packing 1-2 pistols in the bag. You could definitely fit more but then you'd start to lose space for your other gear.
