      Reinstalling a shotgun barrel into reciever

      I am sure you checked for a pin. I missed a pin one one time, got the barrel out and new one almost back on like you and could not figure it out for the longest time. Just enough pin left to keep it from threading all the way back on.

      22 lr accuracy.

      I remember reading about 22 ammo testing guages that help weed out bad rounds of the cheaper stuff. Can't remember if it worked or not.

      It might be as simple as the OP's question was answered or he is busy. Some people just use forums for info and some people use them for entertainment. I am online more now that I am retired than before but I still prefer shooting rather than talking about shooting.

      6.5 Carcano reloading

      That data will be fine. A 1 grain difference in bullet weight is nothing. Hodgon site shows H-335 28.0 grains with a 140 grain .264 bullet for a starting load. It is always a good idea to slug the bore. I have cast bullet loads for it too if you want.
