I've started to accumulate various milsurp guns. Obviously, ammo is difficult to find for these, and pricey. Is it worth it? What is the best way to start?
Has anyone else ever had an issue with their Contender hammer not cocking? Any gunsmiths local to Elkhart county that are familiar with them? I'd rather not send in to Thompson for service.
My wife currently has a S&W 642 Air weight revolver in 38sp for her carry gun. When she shoots it, she has trouble accuracy issues, possibly due to anticipating the recoil. Would a smaller caliber be better, or just more practice? What do your wives carry and like?
