I have a 43, but don’t run mag extensions. It’s the gun I carry when I’m being too lazy to carry my normal guns. I like shooting it. Very accurate even at longer distances.
I have a PX4 Compact in 9mm. I love it. And now there’s a ton of aftermarket support for it thanks to Ernest Langdon really pushing Beretta to new levels.
I’ve had one for a year and a half now. It’s pretty reliable. No issues, including in snow and rain. I definitely want to mount an offset red dot on it though. It’s not very quick at close ranges.
If the military thought that way then they’d probably do better maintainance on their pistols. It’s too bad. People would have different opinions of the 92/M9 if they were better maintained.
I agree though. Any gear a soldier uses should work 100% of the time if possible.
My best friend has a Legion 229 that has been his EDC for a few years. It's got near 10k rounds through it without issue. It's only a sample of one but I'd trust my life to a Sig DA/SA gun all day every day.
