What gun stuff did you buy today?

Picked up a very nice, old Weaver K4-1 scope with post/crosshair reticle and see through rings. Love the old style optics.

What gun stuff did you buy today?

Picked up a gently used S&W 686 Plus with 6" barrel yesterday. Forcing cone area and cylinder face needed some extra attention but it's range ready as of this morning.

      Sporting Clays Shotgun

That looks all too familiar. Replaced firing pins and hammer springs on my old 525 last year. Will admit to having a devil of time getting the hammer springs into place :wallbash:

      Mini 30 Trigger Question

Many thanks for that info. Think I'll disassemble later today to see if I made a stupid mistake (entirely likely).

      Mini 30 Trigger Question

Had Mini 30 (583 serial / composite stock) at the range. No issues. Afterward, cleaned it and upon reassembly, the trigger will not function. Hammer is cocked but won't release. Take trigger assembly out of stock and it works fine. I've looked at it for more than an hour and am bamboozled.

WTB: Ruger Mini 30 Wood Stock

Looking for a Ruger OE wood stock to replace the existing composite furniture my Mini 30. Thx for looking.

What gun stuff did you buy today?

Stumbled on an old Japanese made 3-9x32 Bushnell Banner. Great shape with really clear glass. Might find its way onto an old rimfire rifle.

What gun stuff did you buy today?

Secondhand Primary Arms GLx 4-16x50. In an interesting coincidence, it came with an attached Remington 700 Long Range chambered in 30-06.

What gun stuff did you buy today?

I've nearly depleted my stockpile of old, cheap stuff so.....840 rounds of 7.62x39. Ouch.

What gun stuff did you buy today?

Marlin 1894 in 357/38 from a fellow INGO member. Serial number dates it to 1983 which is the same year my very first firearm, a Marlin Model 60, was born. Looking forward to putting rounds down range!

      Excuses for buying guns.

I'm really only questioned when another safe is needed.

Any good fun .22lr lever guns?

I've yet to find anybody who doesn't like my 39A Mountie. For something a bit different, a Marlin 57M in .22 Mag leaves a week long perma grin on my face.

      WTB: Leupold M8 Scope(s)

Interested in the older, glossy, fixed power Leupold M8's. Prefer 4x, 6x or 8x. Don't need to be mint condition. Very good will do. Thx for looking.

What gun stuff did you buy today?

Pinnacle Firearms in Carmel. Picked up a Marlin 57M in 22WMR there last year.

What gun stuff did you buy today?

Stumbled on a Marlin Golden 39A and couldn't pass it up. Pretty good shape for a 50 year old rifle. Will look nice in the safe next to my 39 Mountie.

      Wheel Gun ID Help

Many thanks. Never would've guessed that.

      Wheel Gun ID Help

Long story short.....mother-in-law is looking for a wheel gun to match the one her sister had. Doesn't know the make/model but has a pic. My knowledge of revolvers is lacking but am guessing the INGO experts can help. What is this?

2024. Making what I own better and staying away from the "shinny" new stuff.

After a couple of firearm free spending years in a row, I've told myself this is the year I focus on essentials like mags and ammo.....plus maybe a pistol red dot or two. That said, there are three guns, if seen in local shops, I'd be hard pressed to pass up. Let's see how long this plan will last.

What gun stuff did you buy today?

Picked up another mag for the Ruger M77/44 I gifted myself for Christmas.

      WTB: Marlin 1894 .357 Magnum

Title says it all. Preferably pre crossbolt safety but will consider models pre Remington. Looking to fill a hole in a small Marlin lever gun collection.
