Sorry about taking so long to respond to your message. Navigating around this site is not the easiest thing for me to do even though I sit in front of a computer all day. I traded my Russian Makarov for the CZ82. The one I got up at the Bluffton gun shop was nearly new. It is a little on the heavy side compared to the aluminum framed guns like the Bersa. However, it seems to shoot as straight as I need it to with the fixed sites and seems to operate smooth and reliably for the little that I have actually been able to shoot it. I traded up to it because I did not read anything negative about it. I personally have nothing negative to say about it other than the weight might be heavier than a woman would like to be carrying. I would definitely recommend one over a Makarov. As far as knock down power, that is pretty much a personal decision and the argument of number of shots vs knock down power or penetration will go on forever. I just feel that should I ever have to shoot someone in the face or torso, it will do what is necessary. Just my two cents and I hope this is of some help to you.
Well, its sad to say, but if they don't get homes by mid December, they will be euthanized. I want to adopt one so bad, but we just don't have room for one more animal. Maybe one day.....
thanks for the rep. Just giving my opinion. When it comes to buckshot though, I like Sellior and Bellot. I was shooting some water filled milk jugs with buckshot one day, remington first, then the S&B and the S&B hit quite a bit harder and sent the jug flying back about 30-40 feet.
