I have two great deals that I found this year. The first deal I was at a yard sale in southern IN. I found a box with a bunch of surefire scout parts. I bought the entire box for 100. I ended up getting 6 complete working lights with the KL4 heads. I gave 2 of away and sold 2 on gunbroker for 140 each. I still have 2 that I am keeping for myself.
The next deal I found was a Trijicon Acog scope. It is the jn812 4x32. The finish was pretty rough but the opitcs were perfect. The guy who showed it to me said he wanted 25 bucks. He swore it was not stolen. Of course I bought it. He later said he did not know what he had. I repainted it and it is now on my sig 556. I have seen similar scopes in its condition sell for around 650.
What can I say, I must be living right.
my best firearm purchase was my SW M&P 15 for 600. I bought it cause im in the military and i wanted something that reminds me of "home" lol. Cant remeber where i bought it tho. Ended up sellin it to pay bills cause im only guard and job market sucks when your unit may be gettin ready to deploy
My best purchase of 2010 was my 1938 91/30 Mosin Nagant, I just wanted something fun and cheap to shoot, this rifle definitely fits that description, especially since I'm a broke college student!
My best purchase for 2010 was a Yugo M57 Tokarev for $199 at Midwest Guns in Mishewaka. For 200 bucks you can't beat it. Shoots pretty good at 10 cents a round.
Got a Springfield XD 45 new out the door from Big R for 409. Apprently someone screwed up and they were selling guns way below MSRP, got it well under a 100 dollars off. Probably one of my favorite guns thus far
