    WTT/WTS 1994 Ford Aerostar Van $450

I'll get pics if there is any interested. Paid $800 for it. Brown/tan color, 180k

    bad
    -back hatch bungie chorded closed
-pulls to the right while acceleration and left while braking
-needs battery, only jump starts now
    -ugly as hell
-leaks oil. Havn't had this long but enough I could tell it's good for moving stuff, not driving 200 miles a day

    The good
    -really big and roomy inside
-used to actually turn on with ease until I took the brand new battery out of it
-you could set it up on your property and shoot at it alot

    Interests:
    lever actions (LA .22 +_
most any handgun offers (1911 +)
    reloading equipment +
    AK mags or accesories +
    ammo - 7.62x39, 7.62x54r, .45, 9x18, 240mm howitzer, etc

It's been sitting a while since I finished my other car project. Drove it for a few weeks.
    Cash price is...

    $550 until Feb 21
    $450 until Feb 28
After that, $350 or it goes to junk yard
(will accept trade offers for any guns of any value, but prefer cash)

Well, I paid $800 but prolly could have gotten it for $700 or so if I had felt like haggling

Let's say price if $550 this week.
    $450 next week
$300 the week after that. :-)

Or trades of coordinating value by week :-)

LoL on the description, I actually had one of these and traded it off when it had over 300K on the orig drive train.

Only bad it ever had was you could not pass, when you floored it it jumped out of gear.

    Good luck on the sale!

I'm near Castleton in Indianapolis. NE corner of 465 where it meets I69

Edit: Slab came over and checked it out today. Fired up fine with a jump. Also has a strange problem when first putting it into gear, it takes a few seconds before (d) catches

Into drive or reverse? Have you checked the transmission fluid level?

If it has been sitting a long time the converter has to refill itself with fluid and it can cause a delay but it should only do this the first time that you put it into gear.

These vans have an A4LD transmisson (4 speed w/OD).

If the delay is into reverse that is normal but if it is into OD then the forward clutchs are worn or the froward clutch sealing rings are cutting into the center support, either way it isn't good.

I'll check fluid lever today. Would make sense.

JB, I normally could care less, but I'm not selling gonna sell a mystery van to anyone on INGO. Call me from craigslist and see how you're treated. ;-)

Some sort of v6? I can check for you. I believe Slab wanted to pick it up late this week, so it may be spoken for.
