I read about Wonder Dust on a forum, it is a Dressing powder and blood coagulant You can buy it at Rural King for 6.99 it is for horses and show stock but I bet it would work for wounds on people. Just my thoughts.
I'd use it and never look back. We use a lot of medicine on cattle that the vet claims could be used on people just the same. Like I said, I'd use this and not be worried.
I was thinking that it might not be a bad thing to use, but then I red about the caustic properties and for use after casteration and dehorning...I'd reseach it a bit more...
The thing about wonder dust is that if used you lose the ability to suture the wound, and in horses which i have vast experience in using it some times promotes the growth of proud flesh, flesh that comes out of the wound and makes a nasty scare. In a life or death situaution anything goes as for using just becasue there has to be something better. it also works well on dogs if they can't lick wear you put it.
