This could really go either way couldn't it? I assume the dnr will argue that the bill's author has stated that they made a mistake but there is still the argument that the law is the law and the dnr can't make a rule that goes against that law. This will have no affect on me but it is going to ruin some weekends if the judge rules no pcr on public land.
People with too much time on their hands, reminders of the lady downtown Indy with a petition to stop bike parking on the weekends on the Circle. Asked her what negative impact it had on her, she couldn't answer. All about control other people.
Is this emergency rule just allowing pistol cartridge rifles like 44mag on public land or is it allowing all the Indiana legal rifles like 30-06 on public land?
I hope next time the legislature bothers to do a quick proofread before rushing interest group legislation. I happen to agree with the expanded calibers, but it's clear the legislature did zero due diligence and that's why we're in this whole idiot situation.
