I was under the impression that under FL law if he is found "not guilty" of the charges then he is immue from any civil suit as well?

Yeah, while in Australia I saw the aftermath of 2 Asian gangs fighting. There were no guns involved but it was a mess. They sure know how to handle a machete.

Sad but true. The media instantly evaluated how best to "stir the pot" for ratings and $$$. Reporting about Zimmerman's injuries and mature demeanor just didn't tell what they desperately needed to tell. It poured cold water on a fire they wanted as hot as possible.

Liberals constantly rant about the 2nd Amendment. Eventually, we will reach a point (if we haven't already) where a serious discussion regarding how to rethink the 1st Amendment, without causing a bigger problem than we have now, will be required if the Republic is to survive. Today's media is too pervasive in our lives to be left totally unchecked. The time has come to reign it in.
