Why is the 10mm so unpopular????

Not sure how unpopular 10mm is, put one forsale in the classifieds and see how fast it gets sold. I would say the demand for 10mm is rather high.

It's probably higher than the supply anyway. And ammo is really damn expensive at $.50 to $.60 per round for just FMJ.
