Followed by launching them on the trip. Some say the British improved after folks like Isaac Davis told them they could go straight to ****.
Eh, I never have any problems with loading, or rim lock. Granted it can happen but it's pretty easy to avoid. There's a technique to it, but it's the same with 303, 7.62x54R, 30-40 Krag, etc..I'm fond of my Ishapore .303. Great action, accurate. Loading is a nightmare. All due respect to the Brits, rimmed cartridges are an awful idea and rimless is superior in every single way. I usually have to correct rim lock or some other loading jam on every single load. Mauser-type actions load in a flash. You need that ten round capacity with the .303, because ten rounds are all you'll be firing in any kind of hurry.
