This would be great, except they require an NRA membership. Not only am I not a member, but I’d rather not give them ANY money for any reason.Become a member of Hoosier Hills Rifle and Pistol Club. Their outdoor range is a few miles east of Nashville off of hwy 46.

Join the NRA thru the link on the HHRP site and they get part of it back. This would be great, except they require an NRA membership. Not only am I not a member, but I’d rather not give them ANY money for any reason.
I don't know of any membership ranges in that part of the state that do not require NRA membership. This would be great, except they require an NRA membership. Not only am I not a member, but I’d rather not give them ANY money for any reason.
In Indianapolis, 38th and Post seems popular.

I’m new to Indiana, specifically the broader Bloomington area, and I’ve realized there’s pretty much nowhere to shoot if you don’t have any land. Most the people I see end up going to point blank, but on here I see a lot of hate towards it. Any help?
CTBay, you better check but I think that PGR closed last year in April.Im in Bedford, a little south of Bloomington. I go to Atterbury Shooting Complex just about every Saturday. It is kinda far away but I have fun cars so don’t mind that. It’s cheap $7/hr and they will let you share a lane if you want. They also bill 1/2 hours after first hour so you don’t really need to keep track of time to not pay $7 for 10min. They are really good about keeping it safe. Clean restroom, nice employees, drinks and snacks.
Lots of people go there and there are lots of rules, for good reason. You can only shoot paper targets and you cannot shoot fast.
If you find a good place closer let me know! Next weekend I was going to try the new place in Spencer. I have never been there. Website says $15/hr and no lane sharing. Thats double but it would definitely save me that $7 in fuel so I am going to see what its like. Precision Gun Range its called.
NotedAtterbury is not too far either. That's a decent range open to the public
